Falkirk’s Kiltpin holds on to title for their seventh success
The man who makes it his job to ensure that grooms are well dressed for their big day has just won another accolade at Scotland’s wedding ‘Oscars’, the VOWS Awards 2011. His Kiltpin business was named the country’s leading groomswear provider for the fifth time. It came almost 65 years to the day since Andrew’s father, Bert Brookes, opened his tailor’s shop in Falkirk. The business, which was synonymous with sartorial elegance, was eventually changed to Kiltpin around seven years ago after Andrew realised that the kiltwear side of the firm was a major growth area. VOWS award winners were announced at a gala event in the Glasgow Hilton attended by 600 members of the Scottish wedding industry.
