Plástico ganha espaço nas coleções para o verão 2012
Enquanto por aqui predominam as cores fortes nas roupas e acessórios, nas coleções internacionais um material com transparência chama atenção: o plástico. Muito usado na década de 1960, quando referências ao futurismo eram fortes na moda, também está associado a looks fetichistas, fazendo a cabeça de pop stars que exploram esses visuais. Outro estilista que usou a ideia nos looks foi Chado Ralph Rucci, na Semana de Moda de Nova York. Em sua coleção para o verão no hemisfério norte, que começa em meados do próximo ano, plásticos aparecem nas roupas e também nos calçados.

After his speech, Talley presented Ralph Rucci with the André Leon Talley Lifetime Achievement Award. Rucci was happy to receive the award but was happier that the award was amber. Girls (and guys) came out wearing things I could never imagine
