Dassault FashionLab to develop 3D design tools

Product lifecycle management (PLM) specialist Dassault Systèmes has launched a technology incubator aimed at helping fashion designers and stylists explore and test new 3D software concepts. The FashionLab initiative ultimately hopes to generate new tools for the fashion industry that integrate design, simulation and collaboration so that an entire collection can be produced using the technology. They will work closely with Dassault Systèmes engineers to forge new and innovative solutions for high-end fashion design. "FashionLab will deliver the power of 3D experiences to a new audience and develop the next generation of fashion designers.
